Future Genealogist
A
modern mother was explaining to her little girl about pictures in
the family photo album. The mother said, "This is the geneticist
with your surrogate mother and here's your sperm donor and your
father's clone. This is me holding you when you were just a frozen
embryo."
"Who is that?" asked the daughter. "Oh," answered the mother, "The
lady with the very troubled look on her face is your Aunt.
She's the family genealogist!"

A Prayer for Genealogists
Lord, help me dig into the past And sift the sands
of time That I might find the roots that made This family tree of
mine.
Lord, help me trace the ancient roads On which my
fathers trod, And led them through so many lands To find our present
sod.
Lord, help me find an ancient book or dusty
manuscript, That's safely hidden now away in some forgotten crypt.
Lord, let it bridge the gaps that haunt my soul
when I can't find this missing link between some name that ends the
same as mine.

Born 10, Sept, 1949--Died 7 March, 2002.
Frederick Ray Harless lost his sister
Janette in a very bad fire, car accident today. They were hit head
on, broke her neck, her husband, daughter-in-law and 2 children
were sent to the hospital. Janette was the twin to Genevia
and they were from Raleigh Co., W.Va.

Born June 27, 1955 --Died 13 June, 2002.
Deborah D. "Debbie" Murray, 46, of
Tampa,Fla. passed away Thursday, June 13, 2002. Her survivors
include daughter, Tanya M. Maye of Port Richey, Florida: sons,
Jerome C. Murray of Port Richey, Florida, and Joseph M. Padgett of
Texas; Mother, Dorothy D. Pheil of Bonifay, Florida, sister
Deanna F. "Dee Dee" McMillion of Port Richey, Florida; brother J.
Russ McMillion, of Starke, Florida; and eight grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 10 am on Tuesday at the Garden
of Memories Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from
7-9 ;.m. on Monday at Brount-Curry and Roel, Garden of Memories
Chapel.
