MATTHEW HARLESS
Mr. Matthew Harless, 20, of Hillsboro died Thursday, March 25, 2004, at a
local hospital. He was born August 20, 1983 in Hillsboro, son of Larry John
and Deborah Lynn Patterson Harless, where he grew up and graduated from high
school. At eight years of age, he began attending church camp and was a
greeter at First Baptist Church. He was a team player in the Challenger Little
League in Waco. He was preceded in death by a grandfather and a grandmother.
Survivors include: his parents, Larry and Deborah Harless of Hillsboro; one
brother, Jason Harless of Eddy; one sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and
Jason Bannister of Mansfield; grandfather, Bob Patterson of Katy; grandmother,
Georgia Anaya of Dallas; one niece, Sarah Beth Bannister of Mansfield; one
nephew, Benjamin Bannister of Mansfield; one uncle; two aunts; and several
cousins. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 28, 2004, at First
Baptist Church in Hillsboro with Dr. Howard Daniel and Rev. Kenneth James
officiating. Burial was at Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro. Memorials may be
made to Latham Springs Baptist Encampment, 134 Private Road 223, Aquilla
76622; or Challenger Little League, P. O. Box 20127, Waco 76702. Burial:
