HARLESS, Betty Joe Jeffrey:  VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.  Betty Joe Jeffrey Harless, 65, of Virginia Beach, formerly of Lorado, W.Va., died Dec. 20, 1999, in Logan (W.Va.) General Hospital after a long illness.  She was a supervisor at the Navy Exchange, Virginia Beach, and a member of Bethel Tabernacle, Lorado.  Surviving: daughter, Anna Harless Monreal of Virginia Beach; sons, Leonard Grant Jeffrey of Norfolk, Robert (Robbie) Harless Jr. of Virginia Beach; sister, Gertie Moore of Lorado; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.   Service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bethel Tabernacle with the Rev. Paul Rhodes officiating.  Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill.  Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the church. HARLESS, Betty Jane Harless McDerment:  SELLERBURG, Ind. - Betty Jane Harless McDerment, 77, of Sellersburg, Ind., formerly of Ashford, W.Va., died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2003, in Clark Memorial Hospital, Jeffersonville, Ind., following an extended illness.   Born Aug. 13, 1926, at Bradley, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Ray and Ida Payne Harless.  Surviving are her husband, Arthur H.; daughters, Diana Marie Bogard and Sandra Kay Janes of Sellersburg; brother, Stanford Harless of Racine, W.Va.; two grandsons; and three great-grandsons.   Service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003, at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet, with the Rev. HARLESS, BILLY E. :  60, of Barboursville, passed away at home from a long illness on Monday, May 12, 2003. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2003, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with the Rev. Lyle McMickens officiating. Burial will follow in Balls Gap Cemetery. He was born March 15, 1943, in Boone County, W.Va. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 years, Brenda Kay Harless. He was a laborer for Neighborall Construction Co., Huntington for 41 years.
